You have no sleeps in your script, it's going to run through that 60000 count up very quickly. Try using a timer instead of a counter.

#include <A.au3>
#include <B.au3>

Global $timer = TimerInit() ; get the start timestamp
While 1
    _A()
    If TimerDiff($timer) >= 60000 Then ; if the difference is equal to or greater than 60,000 ms (10 minutes) then do this
        _B()
        $timer = TimerInit() ; reset the timestamp after the function _B has run
    EndIf
WEnd

Well you solution work fine but i got 1 question

(the script was not working with your logic and my function incorpored to the script so i compiled my desired function in an executable file to lunch it when desired)

well now my question is if i change the time to 1000 it will call function B every minute ? the function B is sending an email to myself but not every one min after 5 min i received only one email. the first one

1000 is equal to 1 second, it's in milliseconds.

60,000 ms isn't 10 minutes, it's 1 minute, my calculation was wrong because I used your original script's values instead of actually paying attention to the numbers. If you want a 10 minute delay you'd use 600,000 and not 60,000. If you want one minute, you need to use 60,000.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

but here is my probleme

The function _A is typing in a log of what a software do in cwinsys32log.html

The function _B(or in this case "UPDATE.EXE") is sending that log to my email to be sure everything is done i need to consult that email

but the probleme is normal...i cant acces to the file to attach it becose the function _A is using it. how to do with the same code to freedom the file cwinsys32log.html to let the function _B send it in attachement to my email.

and in the best world possible: without interuption to the function _A if it is possible. ( that mean i need to be able to log any action in my file ) i realy dont got ANY idea exept compile both script and do one script with both *.exe file but that will lunch like 500 exe to my computer in a couple of seconde i whould like to not do that may there is an existing solution ?)

Run() will start a paralel process, but if you use an autoit function instead it would be executed in series. Then you would know your function _B() is not executed at the same time as _A().

You could also create a function in autoit that makes a copy of the logfile before calling your Run(), that way the logfile will not be accessed later from _A.

Another approach could be to use runwait() as this will pause your script until this udate.exe has completed.

the fact is i already tryed to copy the file( i had the same idea) it does not work for the same reason. file already in use.

if i send only the email it work

if i only monitoring it work great

if i copy the file it s already in use

if i use a function call with my include udf i does not work .... getting stuck
