jefhal
Hi allis here somebody who knows if its possible define for 8 and more buttons mouses the other buttonsDid your mouse come with sofware to "assign" functions to the mouse buttons? If so, check to see if the functions can be programs. Some such mice and "tablets" had programmable buttons that were simply a means for running scripts, batch files, macros, etc. ...by the way, it's pronounced: "JIF"... cal
I've got this mouse. This works fine. Everything except for the left and right click can be put to a "keystroke assignment" Put in some keystroke that you dont use (I use a Ctrl ~) Now put it as a hotkey in autoit. Now the script gets called whenever you hit the button. For more fun put a case statement in there and have it do different things depending on whats on the screen at the time you hit the button. Works great. The only thing I'd like to figure out is a way to call the "application switch" from within autoit. I can't figure out what program the mouse is calling when that button is hit, and its the one button that can't be moved to another button on the mouse. But you can use a script to detect when that window pops up and move it from the current mouse pos to a consistent location on the screen.
