lugosi Posted September 3, 2014 Share Posted September 3, 2014 I used the following lines in a program: $s_PicPathArray = _PathSplit($s_SelectFile, $szDrive, $szDir, $szFName, $szExt) MsgBox($MB_OK, "pic1", $szDrive & " " & $szDir & " " & $szFName & " " & $szExt) $s_BMPLocalPath = $szDir $s_BMPName = $szFName & $szExt $s_new_Logo = $s_BMPLocalPath & $s_BMPName My question is this......is it safer for me to reference the variables that I use in the call to _PathSplit (ie $szDrive, $szDir, $szFName, and $szExt) or should I use the elements of $s_PicPathArray instead? I would have to check the documentation everytime to work out what is help in the 1st element.
