Hi everyone,

I need your help... I have a script that sends email via CDO when a task is completed.  The script works flawless with AutoIt v3.3.8.1 (compiled to an executable) but when I upgrade to AutoIt v3.3.12.0 I get an error every time I invoke SciTE | SyntaxCheck Prod.

Here is a snippet of the script...

$ObjEmail = ObjCreate("CDO.Message")

$ObjEmail.From = "John.Doe@example.com"

$ObjEmail. To = "John.Doe@example.com"       -----> Error: Missing separator character before keyword.

$ObjEmail.Subject = "This is a test..."

$ObjEmail.Textbody = "This is a test..."

$ObjEmail.Configuration.Fields.Item("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/sendusing") = 2

$ObjEmail.Configuration.Fields.Item("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpserver") = "relay.example.com"

$ObjEmail.Configuration.Fields.Item("http://schemas.microsoft.com/cdo/configuration/smtpserverport") = 25

$ObjEmail.Configuration.Fields.Update

$ObjEmail.Send

$ObjEmail= "Nothing"

Do you have any suggestions or recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

Omar

OmarMac,

You would not have created a double account by mistake, as you and seem to be one and the same?

If you did, please tell me which account you wish to keep and I will merge them. If not, please explain (via PM if you wish) what is going on. :)
