asakust Posted September 30, 2014 Share Posted September 30, 2014 I've been trying to automate a tedious task, and immediately ran into an issue. I need to access a spreadsheet, but not all of the computers I have access to have Excel - they're using a different office suite called WPS Office, previously called Kingsoft Office. All of the excel files and formulas work in WPS, but I can't get any of the excel commands in autoit to work... I'm assuming because they're all based on the actual program. Has anyone run into any situations like this? I did a search for kingsoft and WPS, neither pointed me into any information I can use. Clarification - I can't even run the _Excel_Open function, it errors out right at the beginning. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Its about the best free alternative to office, latest version can also handle docx files http://www.wps.com/ If Ive just helped you ... miracles do happen.
