emendelson
I think this should be easy, but I've searched and experimented without success. I want to be able to convert an ASCII string that looks like this: C:PATHTO~1FILENAME.EXT Into a unicode-style string with hex 00 between each of the ASCII numbers, like this (for the first few characters): 00 43 00 3A 00 5C 00 50 00 41 00 54 ... There is some ancient code on the forum that only converts the first five or six characters, and, as far as I can tell, the various _WinAPI_ functions won't accomplish this with plain-ASCII strings. Am I missing something obvious? I'll be grateful for any help in making this work.
