GBarn
So here is the error: ==> Subscript used on non-accessible variable.: Here is the code: Func GetHandleFromPID($PID) Local $aReturn = _WinAPI_EnumProcessWindows($PID) Local $hReturn ;$hReturn = $aReturn[1][0] ; this is the line that gives me the error "Subscript used on non-accessible variable" _ArrayDisplay($aReturn, "Handles") ;but this line works fine (see screenshot below) Return $aReturn EndFunc The array seems to be there when I pass it to the _ArrayDisplay() function but in the prior line it gives me the error. Moderators Melba23 Posted October 24, 2014 Moderators Share Posted October 24, 2014 GBarn,I can only presume that when you get the error there has been no array returned from _WinAPI_EnumProcessWindows. It is always a good idea to check that an array actually exists before attempting to access its elements. Solution GBarn Posted October 27, 2014 Author Solution Share Posted October 27, 2014 Thanks Melba23, that was the answer. I was calling this function in a loop and I had an invalid PID so that is the one that was failing. Anyway thanks for the reply.
