Hi im trying to add 5 arrays into one its a load of reg keys im grabbing but i dont understand how to make arrayadd work with the arrays

Im using a function from DXRW4E

#RequireAdmin
#include <_RegEnumKeyValEx.au3>
#include <Array.au3>
Opt("TrayAutoPause",0)

$sRegPath = 'HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\|' & _
        'HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\|' & _
        'HKLM64\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\|' & _
        'HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\|' & _
        'HKCU64\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\'
;~ =================================================
Global $aRegPath = StringSplit($sRegPath, "|")
;~ _ArrayDisplay( $aRegPath)
;~ =================================================

Global $UninstallKeys[0],$UninstallCheck
For $regloop = 1 To $aRegPath[0]
    If IsArray($aRegPath) Then
        $UninstallCheck = _RegEnumKeyEx($aRegPath[$regloop], 128 + 256, "*","*UninstallS*")
        ConsoleWrite('UninstallCheck Is Array & @error = ' & @error & @CRLF)
        _ArrayDisplay($UninstallCheck)
        $UninstallArray = _ArrayAdd($UninstallKeys, $UninstallCheck)
        ConsoleWrite('UninstallArray & @error = ' & @error & @CRLF)
        _ArrayDisplay($UninstallKeys)
    Else
        ConsoleWrite('UninstallCheck Not Array ' & @CRLF)
        ContinueLoop
    EndIf
Next
Local $aUninstallList = _ArrayUnique($UninstallKeys)

All the arrays have the same amount of colums and ive read the helpfile remarks for this bit but i just dont understand what the remarks mean in relation to what to add?

Chimaera,

As all the arrays have the same number of columns I think _ArrayConcatenate is better suited: ;)

Global $UninstallCheck, $UninstallKeys[0][4]
For $regloop = 1 To $aRegPath[0]
    If IsArray($aRegPath) Then
        $UninstallCheck = _RegEnumKeyEx($aRegPath[$regloop], 128 + 256, "*","*UninstallS*")
        ConsoleWrite('UninstallCheck Is Array & @error = ' & @error & @CRLF)
        _ArrayDisplay($UninstallCheck, "To concatenate", Default, 8)
        _ArrayConcatenate($UninstallKeys, $UninstallCheck, 1) ; <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
        ConsoleWrite('UninstallArray & @error = ' & @error & @CRLF)
        _ArrayDisplay($UninstallKeys, "Concatenated", Default, 8)
    Else
        ConsoleWrite('UninstallCheck Not Array ' & @CRLF)
        ContinueLoop
    EndIf
Next
Local $aUninstallList = _ArrayUnique($UninstallKeys)
_ArrayDisplay($aUninstallList, "Unique values", Default, 8)

Ok that works ill have to puzzle over that tommoz

One question is it possible to keep the original colums after the _ArrayUnique? like unique acros all the colums as one item

it only leaves one column as i guess the others count as duplicates

That's not how arrayunique works, it only returns a 1D array. It returns the elements of a column of a 1 or 2 D array, but it always returns a 1D.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.
