XenonTech
Hi I'm making a bot for a sandbox video game and I'm curious if its possible to make a bot that would move towards sound? Basically imagine if there is a zombie or something walking. The game has surround sound support and I was thinking what if I had the bot move the player (with WASD) in 4 different directions until the sound got louder, then move that direction and a few miliseconds later do it again until it is right next to said sound? Don't worry, the game isn't like Runescape where bots ruin the game. All stats of the player are deleted at the end of the game and stats have no affect on the other players so no harm would be done. For now I'm just curious if its possible for autoit to capture a processes sound and then react differently compared to the results?
XenonTech
If this isn't possible should I try Visual Basic instead?

Please read them now (there is also a link at bottom right of each page) - particularly the bit about not discussing game automation - and then you will understand why you will get no help and this thread will now be locked. See you soon with a legitimate question I hope.
