Luigi
Hi forum, I always use AdLibUnRegister for each AdLibRegister used um code... Sometimes have many AdLibUnregister. Today I read the function _Timer_KillAllTimers. The doubt: can I use _Timer_KillAllTimers for kill all timers created by AdLibRegister? Like this? Thanks, Detefon #include <Timers.au3> HotKeySet("{F9}", "_quit") OnAutoItExitRegister("on_exit") AdlibRegister("tic", 500) While Sleep(250) WEnd Func tic() Beep(2000, 80) EndFunc ;==>tic Func _quit() Exit EndFunc ;==>_quit Func on_exit() ;~ AdlibUnRegister("tic") _Timer_KillAllTimers("[ACTIVE]") EndFunc ;==>on_exit Visit my repository
Moderators Solution Melba23 Posted November 17, 2014 Moderators Solution Share Posted November 17, 2014 Detefon,As I understand it there is no need to unregister Adlib calls before exiting the script - they are controlled internally and are automatically cleared by AutoIt as it tidies up after itself. But you do need to exit any timers you have created using _Timer_SetTimer as this function creates a timer outside AutoIt's control - so a call to _Timer_KillTimer or _Timer_KillAllTimers is necessary. See here for the advice that I found some time ago and on which I base my advice.I hoe that helps.
