All,

First of all, excuse me if I am postoing at the wrong place. Do not hesitate to redirect me.

I am using the  _WinAPI_CommandLineToArgv function from WinAPIEx UDF.

The sample code I have is

#Include <Array.au3>
#include <WinAPIShPath.au3>
Local $aData = _WinAPI_CommandLineToArgv('/ScriptName:"G:\hello world\test.au" c d')
_ArrayDisplay($aData, '_WinAPI_CommandLineToArgv')

The result is unexpected.

$adata Array
[0]|2
[1]|/ScriptName:"G:\hello
[2]|world\test.au c d

The correct result should be

$adata Array
[0]|3
[1]|/ScriptName:"G:\hello world\test.au"
[2]|c
[3]|d

Thank you for your insight of what I might be doing wrong.

Regards

gillesg,

Looking at the Help file example I would suggest that the leading "/ScriptName:" in your string is causing the problem - certainly omitting that part of the string returns the array you expect. :)

Looking on MSDN, it seems that this function expects the first word on the command line string to be the program name (as returned by GetCommandLine) - this was not the case in your example, so it is unsurprising that the faunction failed. ;)
