ModemJunki
I have a script with an include file (big, lots of inherited and bodged stuff in it). I can't post the include because its not mine to post (belongs to big company I work for). I use ConsoleWrite to do debugging while developing. If I include the include, ConsoleWrite won't echo in SciTE. If I comment it out, it works fine. So I've got something in the include, but don't know what it could be. :-( Always carry a towel. BrewManNH
Probably #RequireAdmin If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. guinness
Spawning a separate process? Your problem is kind of like looking for a needle in a ... well it could be a haystack, barn, courtyard, dunno?! I respect that you can't post code, but at least give us some clue than a blanket "it doesn't work" post. Solution BrewManNH Posted November 24, 2014 Solution Share Posted November 24, 2014 I was saying the include might have #RequireAdmin in it, which would prevent you from seeing the output, not saying add it. But, as guinness says, without seeing the code, it's impossible to be sure what the issue is. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. ModemJunki
That was it - the include has #RequireAdmin in it. I'll comment it out and put it in the needed scripts instead. Sorry about the needle in the haystack but my hands are tied. :-( Always carry a towel.
