Need to get the "site" from a list of DC Servers in AD

Hi again,

Can someone see what i'm doing wrong,

I'm after the "Site" Information on the servers in this list ( the second picture )

_BuildServerSiteList()

Func _BuildServerSiteList()
    _AD_Open()
    $_Site ="OU=Domain Controllers,DC=education,DC=xxxx,DC=yyyyy,DC=au"
    $SiteCode = _AD_GetObjectsInOU($_Site, "(objectclass=Computer)", 1, "Name")
    _AD_Close()
    _ArrayDisplay($SiteCode)
EndFunc

If I change   $SiteCode = _AD_GetObjectsInOU($_Site, "(objectclass=Computer)", 1, "Name,site")

it does not return anything

So I tried it like this,

_BuildServerSiteList()

Func _BuildServerSiteList()
    _AD_Open()
        $ddd=_AD_GetObjectProperties("ALNSS01" & "$")
    _AD_Close()
    _ArrayDisplay($ddd)
EndFunc

But it does not return any "site" information ( first picture )

Thank's in advanced for any help,

Nigel

Can't test at the moment. But could you give "SiteName" a try?

Example 3 in _AD_GetObjectProperties.au3 displays all properties for the current computer. You can select the needed one.

No,  that did not bring back anything,

Example 3 in _AD_GetObjectProperties.au3 displays all properties for the current computer. You can select the needed one.

This works, but slow on the 250+ servers, ( I was just pulling the "serverReferenceBL" field)

in the end, i Used the OU names in a different area in AD that gave me the site locations

but thank you for your input,

Nigel
