offtopic
Hi Fellow Programmers. There might be an easy solution to this but i can't seem to find it. I want to use my Autoit Debugging function in my Autohotkey Scripts. Since the Autohotkey Version of @ScriptLineNumber doesn't work in functions. Should i try to create a dll file, interact between scripts with text files? If anyone has suggestions i would greatly appreciate it. computergroove
Wouldn't it be easier to just convert your program to autoit? Get Scite to add a popup when you use a 3rd party UDF -> http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/scite/docs/SciTE4AutoIt3/user-calltip-manager.html

Moderators Solution SmOke_N Posted December 16, 2014 Moderators Solution Share Posted December 16, 2014 It's a macro that is made by trapping the error internally. Unless you're going to re-write and compile the ahk binary, I doubt you'll get the result you're hoping for. But in all seriousness, since this is an issue you're having with another language that you would like to improve upon, I'd suggest you ask that forum/admin/dev team to implement something different in their internal code that represents what you're trying to accomplish within your other language code. Common sense plays a role in the basics of understanding AutoIt... If you're lacking in that, do us all a favor, and step away from the computer.
