How to check if COM Object is registered

"When you are sharing scripts that use COM objects, be sure the objects exist on all computers."

So I just wondering: How to check if COM Object is registered?

Of course I mean check without using ObjCreate().

As I understand it means this...

ObjCreate(...) ; Bad

ObjCreate(...)

You simply check @error after calling ObjCreate.

@error contains the COM error code. One of this codes denotes "Object not registered".

As the script wants to work with the Object you always need to call ObjCreate.

How I ask at the begining "without using ObjCreate()"

Maybe I can say something more.

For example i know:

Global $__sClassName_QPDF_Commercial = "DebenuPDFLibraryAX1014.PDFLibrary"
Global $__sCLSID_Commercial = '{A4E15448-622E-4F15-8526-9BB9017642AB}'
Global $__sIID_Commercial = '{28763849-F5AF-4FF6-8D05-A417FB4D4345}'

If know all of this info can I check it in registry or in some other way ?

Not sure but you can search if the object name exists in the registry (HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT)

Edit : also, you can check it with a WMI query in Win32_COMClass (but I would prefer ObjCreate + @error)
