If that's the case, the only way is to turn up the squelch so it's not heard in the silence, or remove it in post processing by applying an inverse of the noise to the recording. If it's wind-noise, a foam ball over the microphone can help, and has the advantage of dampening the "plosive" issues that most microphones have. Belini Posted January 22, 2015 Author Share Posted January 22, 2015 What I need is to filter the sound decreasing the high frequencies (treble), medium (average) and low (bass) and tmb slightly decrease the amplification of the mics. because from what I researched this helps cause the unpleasant noise.
