ie get class value

I'm trying to get the value of a class on a website, I know the class name but can't seem to get the value

I just want to get the value of  "23"

$class = _IETagNameGetCollection($url, "class", 'temp')

You can't pass the URL as the first parameter. Look at the example in the help file for guidance.
