Net Time

Someone knows if there is some means or udf to syncronize periodically time and date with a domain server without using the DOS utility Net.exe by Net /time ?.

This is, doing it just inside AutoIt; some dll call may be ?

Thanks but...nop, I need sync time with a server in my domain, not Internet...

Is your domain running an NTP server?

Yep, i dont mind the real time is it, i just need all clients PCs are in time with the server, regarthless the server is in in real time or no, that is the server´s administrator issue... .

The server is a clusters of machines running a server of linux virtual machines, providing all servers and services needed, windows domain server by Samba, NTP server, internet filter and load balancing, etc, etc...

I do several periodicall checks like NIC´s IPAdress and date/time is correct (and several others things). At present i use:

but i dont like very much, it triggers DOS console and several threats and takes like 0.8 secs using up to 20%CPU in that lap (in old machines).

I would like to do it inside the Autoit program that does all checks if its possible, like some sort of windows API call. Im not in a hurry, i asked just for the case if someone knows it. Else, may be i will research more in some weeks.

Then change the location the script(s) go to,  to your NTP server's address instead of an internet server.

You can capture the time from a remote system with WMI.
