Hey guys I'm pretty new here and I need some help with grabbing text for an if statement.

Ok so I just started playing with Autoit and I want to create an if statement to check a certain area on my screen for a specific sentence. Like I said I'm a pretty big newbie and have no idea if this is even possible. Anyways, any help would be greatly appreciated!

We need more details than this vague description to be able to assist. ;)

Also, your title "Hey guys I'm pretty new here and I need some help with grabbing text for an if statement." could/should have been something like "grabbing text for an if statement", much shorter and easier to read.

Also like Jos said, your request is way too vague to infer a pertinent answer.
