Link for changes in versions

Looking for the link to show what breaks the script with the different versions. Tried the search, but 40 pages is a lot to look at - thanks for your help.

Thanks as always for the really quick replies, but I did not see what I was looking for.

The excel.au3 changed at some point, and I am looking for those changes, as my script has a few functions that I was not able to locate in the newest version of that UDF - namely _ExcelSheetActivate() and _ExcelWriteCell() - maybe someone can direct me to those changes?

So maybe I should have just started with that, but I am glad I know where it is now - thanks.

_ExcelWriteCell() = _Excel_RangeWrite()

_ExcelSheetActivate()  = ???? $oSheet.Activate() maybe.

Or

oBook.Worksheets[1].Activare() perhaps.

Well you led me to the right area - there is a section in the help file called "Excel UDF - Script Breaking Changes" - go figure lol
 

Thanks, will hope to find what I am looking for there, but just a question, should this not be a link or mentioned in the links mentioned above ^^?

That did not work, as the first one I looked for _ExcelSheetActivate() says it should be _Excel_SheetActivate, but that is not listed in the UDF.

Any ideas?

Excel UDF - Script Breaking Changes
The Excel UDF was completely rewritten to support new file formats and new features of Microsoft Excel.
This means that scripts written for AutoIt up to version 3.3.8.1 won't run with later versions and need to be modified.
The following table lists the differences between the old and the new version.

Indeed, water, that's the same as in the help file, it says.

Ops, that's a bug. Actually there is no such function in the new UDF.

A workaround is described here.

I just checked and the docu has been fixed in the beta version of AutoIt.
