Can't Find ControlID for Inbut Box

Is there anything I can do (other than XY) to target the input box "Sample Name"

The area in the blue is the area that I selected (I could not specify any further than that).

[CLASS:Button; INSTANCE:13] - it seems like you got some control here, only you targeted some button.

didnt it show up any control like "CLASS:Edit" when you were over the input?

im just thinking, if program like this allows you to get button controls, usually there are no problems with other controls in that app.. so im wondering

Hi there Zobengrauzis!!!!

It turns out I can disable the Spy++ logic and it allowed me to target that specific input box! Problem solved!

I'll start a new thread with my next issue and how the program is suppose to function.
