Get refence of a already open Word Document

Recommended Posts

Yes, sorry, i was not clear what i really want to do.
Like i was using "ProcessClose" but this is not so usefull because get erros after some time, the program trying to get the last save-state of document and i want close with Word-UDF, this:
_Word_DocClose
_Word_Quit

But for this i need a referente to object, like: "_Word_DocClose($reference_opened_object)

The problems is: i cant get this reference of a already open document.

This will attach to an existing Word application, and closes all Word windows.

#include <Word.au3>

$oObject = _Word_Create()
_Word_Quit($oObject, Default, Default, True)

See the help file for the parameters for _Word_Quit if you want to save the documents on close.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.
