total beginners request help

Recommended Posts

Hello dear autoit community!

And friend and I are currently trying to create a real simple klick bot.

As we are totally beginners to autit, we can not figure out why exactly our compiled script won't work.

Script: [Code deleted because of possible game automation]

This post was deleted by the original poster

Hope you can help us :/

Montor,

Welcome to the AutoIt forums. :)

a real simple klick bot

You might not have read the >Forum rules since your arrival. Please do read them - particularly the bit about not discussing game automation - before you post again. ;)

david1337,

When you reply, please use the "Reply to this topic" button at the top of the thread or the "Reply to this topic" editor at the bottom rather than the "Quote" button - the OP knows what he wrote and it just pads the thread unnecessarily. ;)

Hi Montor

Try this:

Global $Pause

HotKeySet("{LEFT}", "_START")
HotKeySet("{DOWN}", "_PAUSE")
HotKeySet("{RIGHT}", "_EXIT")

Func _START()
   $pause = 0
   While $pause = 0
      ToolTip("")
   MouseClick ( "", 1593, 377 )
   Sleep (50000)
    WEnd
 EndFunc

While 1
    Sleep(100)
WEnd
;;;;;;;;

Func _PAUSE()
    $Pause = Not $Pause
    While $Pause
        Sleep(100)
        ToolTip('Script is "Paused"', 0, 0)
    WEnd
    ToolTip("")
EndFunc

Func _EXIT()
    Exit 0
EndFunc

caramen,

I have already pointed the OP to the Forum rules in post #2 of the thread, so what is the point of your post? Particularly given you have had no input at all until just now. :huh:

Deleted everything that could be used for game automation, hope an admin comes around and deletes the remaining code in this thread.

This is, of course, a script used for game automation - but it is not the intended use - we read somewhere that bot's are the easiest scripts for autoit and we just wanted to start getting some experience with it.

Thanks for your help either way!

Can be closed :)

Thanks for your honesty - it makes a refreshing change.

Not at all true - just look around the forum to discover a multitude of things you can do with AutoIt - the only limit is your imagination.

I hope to see you back again, only next time with a legal question!
