Image search failing to load dll.

Recommended Posts

I am trying to make a simple script that will run my daily reports for work while i am out to lunch. A lot of the reports are generated in inhouse applications that have icons for navigation. Because of that the image search library seemed appropriate to make a quick and easy automation without much hassle.

I am running windows 8.1 64-bit, I had installed the 64-bit version of auto it along with the 64-bit library. The file failed to run with an array error which i determined to be "unable to use the DLL file". So i went back and edited the library (au3 file) and added Dll open and close commands however the dll still isn't usable.

I tried installing the 32-bit version along with the 32-bit library and i just get APPCRASH.

Any tips/suggestions?

derptropping,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum.

But please pay attention to where you post - the "Dev Chat" section where you started this thread is not for general support questions. I have moved it for you, but would ask you to be more careful in future.

Can you post your code by chance? I read your post and you say "array error", but then say it was a DLL error.

Also, posting the error along with your code would help immensely. :)
