Can't background color on a status bar

Recommended Posts

Hi

On a small script I made, I have a status bar created with:

$stBar = _GUICtrlStatusBar_Create($MainForm)

And it works perfectly. However, if I try to change the background color with:

_GUICtrlStatusBar_SetBkColor($stBar, 0x0000FF)

Nothing happens. The status bar Bk color remains the same (grey).

Any ideas ?

pjrebordao,

Looks like a bug - it does not work in either the release or Beta versions. I will raise a ticket.

M23

Edit: In fact it is not a bug as explained in this ticket.

I think the example in the helpfile will work if you add these commands:

#include <WinAPITheme.au3>
...
_WinAPI_SetWindowTheme( $hStatus, "", "" )

LarsJ,

Excellent - I will add that to the remarks section for _GUICtrlStatusBar_SetBkColor in the Help file.
