Error: allocating memory.

I am create simple script and read file in hex, 1st open 50kb file very slow open, second time open 1gb file not open and show error allocating memory.

Anyone help me open file fast and large size.......

care to be a little more explicit than "same error" since you haven't provided anything for us to test with?

EDIT:

• Are you really trying to read the whole 1 Gb file into a variable and then trying to show that in a GUI?
• Why are you using ProcessWaitClose($FR)?
• Why are you doing the _StringToHex($FR)? Isn't $FR already in Hex notation?

Adding to what Jos just said, look at the following:

Now, given that an AutoIt string is Unicode, each character takes 16-bits, aka 2 bytes. So a 1Gb binary input + a 8Gb hex string = a total of 9Gb for variables, barring other uses elsewhere in your script. That's is a lot to allocate, much more than Windows is going to give to a process.

Also are you seriously going to display a 4Gcharacters hex string of hex string (yes, two levels of hex!)? What is the intended purpose of this, lest nonsense?
