Freec
It recommended 32-bit install for compatibility reasons. I guess I could try 64-bit install and see what happens.
Freec
That doesn't seem to have fixed anything. Exact same problem as before.
Moderators Melba23 Posted May 18, 2015 Moderators Share Posted May 18, 2015 Freec,I wonder if you are having folder redirection problems. SadBunny
Does your event viewer (start -> run -> eventvwr -> <enter>) list any warnings/errors for the times you start one of them?Have you checked the file permissions/ownerships of your user directory?Anything funky ever happened where you went to town with setting security properties for entire directory structures? (Like manually trying to make a user directory of an AD user available to a local non-privileged user when moving a work PC to home or that sort of stuff...) Roses are FF0000, violets are 0000FF... nitekram
Just for something else to try...take your scrips folder and move it from the desktop to another location i.e. root of C:\ and then give full permissions to the that folder. 2¢ All by me:"Sometimes you have to go back to where you started, to get to where you want to go." SadBunny
Don't give anything or anyone full permissions to the c:\ root dir (assuming that's where your OS is installed). Create a c:\temp (or something) and do it there. At the very least a directory without any (important) subdirectories. Roses are FF0000, violets are 0000FF... All my base are belong to you.
