Dealing with time

I have a function which is calling message box every 5 minutes

while 1()

    
    if Mod (@MIN, 5) = 0 then
        MsgBox (0, 0,0)
    endif
    


wend

As soon as 5 minutes have passed it would call msgbox. The msgbox will be called during the whole minute.

How can I call message box only once and then wait untill another 5 minutes have passed?

I think a better way would put the macro @sec in there...that way, the message box will only show up on the 5 minute mark, and at zero seconds.

​Yes, but the gui will be unreachable within that time, that is why I am looking for a loop solution

Ah ... a GUI. Give us as much information as possible when you start a thread. So we can sort out solutions which do not solve your problem
