GoFor
I want to use UDP function and i have some problem :/ I should use ip from here :http://www.iplocation.net/find-ip-address or from cmd>ipconfig or from the other source? What is the difference? If i use ip from cmd>ipconfig then it works only in my wifi range (LAN i think). And from a website it's not working at all... BrewManNH
The IP address from ipconfig is your LAN network address, the other one is the IP address that the world sees you at.No idea what you're trying to do, so it is impossible to tell you why it's not working.Post your script. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. trancexx
You need to do port forwarding. Search the web on how to do it, it depends on your router/whatever.Also your firewall could (possibly) be set to block connection with outside world on that port, even if you correctly configure forwarding. ♡♡♡ . eMyvnE
Developers Jos Posted June 16, 2015 Developers Share Posted June 16, 2015 The server can only bind to an ip address available to it, so has to be your LAN ip address.Make sure you test for the success of that statement by testing @error.
