Bot for my own game

Recommended Posts

Hi I am new here I want to make bot for game that I make myself. I'm from Poland so my English is not very good:(
sorry about that. Game is simple scrolling shooter from left to right where you fly a spaceship shoot , avoid other ships and bullets and collect upgrades.I wont to make bot to start learning programming. My goal is to make games but I don't know where to start. which programming language to learn.
I made my game using Game Maker it is simple drag and drop software with its own scripting  language.
I wont my bot to start the game pick a stage and finish the stage by himself and go to next stage.
