ControlClick Call

Recommended Posts

I have an application called CheckPoint and I am trying to automate some repetitive tasks.  I have the program and the AutoIT Window Info both open.  I am having trouble automating the controls in the application.  Initially I want to just LMB Click the Find button.  Attached is a snapshot of the Window Info.  I have tried several ways to click the find button:

WinActivate("CheckPoint")

Sleep(250)

;ControlFocus("CheckPoint", "", "Find Item")
;ControlClick("CheckPoint", "", "Button4")
;ControlClick("CheckPoint", "", "[ID:1028]")
;ControlClick("CheckPoint", "", "[CLASS:Button; TEXT:Find; INSTANCE:4]")
;ControlClick("CheckPoint", "", 1028)

I have been commenting out each line item after it has been tried and failed, so all of these are shown commented out.  Any idea how I can get this to work?  I have a ton of repetitive tasks that would be an enormous time saver if I could automate this application.

Thanks,

Clint

Put #RequireAdmin at the top, as this program might require Administrative credentials to be automated.
