Hello all!

With your help I have been able to conquer every problem I've faced thus far in using AutoIt, but I've come across something that I 1) don't fully understand and 2) am not sure how to even begin tackling.

I have the following list box in a GUI that I am trying to automate that I cannot read any data from. I have discussed this in a previous thread and tried several solutions, but the conclusion was that OCR would probably be the best way to go. You can see the list info and the list box(the data has been edited out) below:

Capture.thumb.PNG.6bca5d72ecce3fcbd1480eCapture1.thumb.PNG.2993dbf429646af684b04

I need to find a way to view the data in the list box and choose the user parameter(in this case, the correct library). There will also be instances where I will simply need to get data from another list and validate it it. I believe the major issue is that the list is populated at runtime(this was discussed in a previous thread) and that is why I cannot directly access the data in the list.

I have viewed both of these threads:

but am not able to full grasp how I should be using either of them. Unfortunately this means that I also don't really have a script to post at this point in time either. If anyone that has experience with this can help me out or point me in the right direction, that would be a huge help. This is the last piece of the puzzle for me and it has absolutely driven me crazy :)

I am trying to incorporate everything into AutoItx4Java, but am prepared to run an executable for these portions if necessary. Thanks in advance for any help you might be able to give! I will do my best to get back to you with any questions as soon as I can.

(bump)

I just wanted to give this a little more visibility this week. I know there aren't as many users familiar with OCR, but if any that are could give me a bit of advice or ideas on how to work with this that would be a tremendous help. I am currently a bit lost as to where to start with these lists and OCR.

Thanks!

      I'm using the following:
      Autoit 3.3.14.5
      newly installed Beta 3.3.15.5
      SQlite version 3380000 aka 3.38.0
      I put sqlite3.dll and sqlite3_x64.dll in C:\Windows\System32 since many scripts depend on them.

      I extended the output of _SQLite_Startup()
      with:
      ConsoleWrite("@AutoItX64 " & @AutoItX64 & @CRLF) ConsoleWrite("$sDll_Filename " & $sDll_Filename & @CRLF) ConsoleWrite("_SQLite_LibVersion=" & _SQLite_LibVersion() & @CRLF)

      Also using the script from https://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/docs/libfunctions/_SQLite_Startup.htm for testing.

      >Running:(3.3.14.5):C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\autoit3.exe "R:\Download\aasdf.au3" @AutoItX64 0 $sDll_Filename sqlite3.dll _SQLite_LibVersion=0 >Running:(3.3.14.5):C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\autoit3_x64.exe "R:\Download\aasdf.au3" @AutoItX64 1 $sDll_Filename sqlite3_x64.dll _SQLite_LibVersion=3.38.0 >Running:(3.3.15.5):C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\Beta\autoit3.exe "R:\Download\aasdf.au3" @AutoItX64 0 $sDll_Filename sqlite3.dll _SQLite_LibVersion=0 >Running:(3.3.15.5):C:\Program Files (x86)\AutoIt3\Beta\autoit3_x64.exe "R:\Download\aasdf.au3" @AutoItX64 1 $sDll_Filename sqlite3_x64.dll _SQLite_LibVersion=3.38.0

      Why doesn't it work in 32bit, despite me having the 32bit sqlite.dll? Autoit urges running scripts in 32bit mode and Scite starts scripts just in 32bit mode without the flag?
      With #AutoIt3Wrapper_UseX64=Y it just works, both normal Autoit and beta!

      Hello Team, Greetings!
      Is there any way to run any 3rd party application silently in background without the GUI getting in the front ?
      I was implementing angry-ip scanner with autoit & wanted the angry-ip application to run in background quietly as I am copying its output to other file on completion. is there any way to achieve my query?
      Below is code I tried:
      $range = "192.168.0.1 192.168.0.255" ShellExecuteWait("C:\Windows\DDM\ipscan.exe","-f:range "&$iprange&" -q -o C:\temp\ScanResults.csv","","open",@SW_HIDE) Thanks!

      Hello guys.  I recently saw some posts that Windows 10 provides OCR API. So I decided to create a UDF.

      What's UWPOCR?
      UWPOCR UDF is a simple library to use Universal Windows Platform Optical character recognition API.
      Features.
      Get Text From Image File. Get Text From GDI+ Bitmap. Easy to use.  Usage:
      #include "..\UWPOCR.au3" _Example() Func _Example() Local $sOCRTextResult = _UWPOCR_GetText(FileOpenDialog("Select Image", @ScriptDir & "\", "Images (*.jpg;*.bmp;*.png;*.tif;*.gif)")) MsgBox(0,"",$sOCRTextResult) EndFunc Get Words Rect(Example):

      More examples here.

      Check UWPOCR UDF on GitHub.

      Saludos

      This topic give you access to an AutoIt functions library I maintain which is called PAL, Peter's AutoIt Library. The latest version 1.26 contains 214 functions divided into these topics:
      window, desktop and monitor GUI, mouse and color GUI controls including graphical buttons (jpg, png) logics and mathematics include constants string, xml string and file string dialogues and progress bars data lists: lists, stacks, shift registers and key maps (a.ka. dictionaries) miscellaneous: logging/debugging, process and system info Change log and files section  on the PAL website (SourceForge).
      A lot of these functions were created in the development of Peace, Peter's Equalizer APO Configuration Extension, which is a user interface for the system-wide audio driver called Equalizer APO.
