how to compare data before and after

Recommended Posts

i trying to grab data from website and seperate that in 5 $inputbox.

after that i will refresh that web n grab data again from it.

the problem is every im refreshed the data will change too,

so how can i compare 5 data from before and after

example :

data before: 1, 2, 3 ,4 ,5

data After : 3, 5, 7, 9, 1

i just want to check if the 1st number in data before (in this case is "1") is same or not with the second in data after (in this case = "5")

can anyone help with the example code or the function that i must use???

thx

You can use StringSplit to split the strings in two arrays and then compare the desired values of the two arrays

$aBefore = StringSplit("1, 2, 3, 4, 5", ", ", $STR_ENTIRESPLIT + $STR_NOCOUNT)
$aAfter = StringSplit("3, 5, 7, 9, 1", ", ", $STR_ENTIRESPLIT + $STR_NOCOUNT)

If $aBefore[0] <> $aAfter Then ...

hmm... i get the data from website n store it to 5 different INPUTBOX, how to compare it if the condition like that?

Show your code, please.

Func Bacamarket()

$oIE = _IECreate($url)
sleep(2000)
_IEAction($oIE, "refresh")
$html = _IEDocReadHTML($oIE)

sleep(5000)

As you get the results in an array you can compare directly the array elements
An example to show the concept :

$url = "blablabla.com"

$oIE = _IECreate($url)
$html = _IEDocReadHTML($oIE)   ; get the first page
sleep(1000)
$res1 = StringRegExp($Html, '(?is)td\h*class="align-c\h*(?:small|big)">([^<]+)', 3)
sleep(2000)

_IEAction($oIE, "refresh")
sleep(1000)
$html = _IEDocReadHTML($oIE)   ; get the new page
$res2 = StringRegExp($Html, '(?is)td\h*class="align-c\h*(?:small|big)">([^<]+)', 3)

If $res1[0] <> res2[1] Then ...  ; do the comparison

If it is only a string, you could use a Static variable as a temp holder, checking it with each call to the function, and changing the value of the static variable if it has changed.

All by me:

"Sometimes you have to go back to where you started, to get to where you want to go."

"Everybody catches up with everyone, eventually"

"As you teach others, you are really teaching yourself."

From my dad

"Do not worry about yesterday, as the only thing that you can control is tomorrow."

how about if i want to looping that function..so it will compare likethis : "res1[0] with res2[0]".."res2[0] with res3[0]"..."res3[0] with res4[0]"...etc (endless looping) ?

thx

Is this the goal ?

Should be the same as ""res1[0] with res2[0]".."res2[0] with res3[0]"..."res3[0] with res4[0]"...etc (endless looping) ?"

If it is only a string, you could use a Static variable as a temp holder, checking it with each call to the function, and changing the value of the static variable if it has changed.

an example how I do it in some my projects

#include <ie.au3>
Global $url = 'blabla.com'
Global $oIE = _IECreate($url)
While 1
    _IEAction($oIE, "refresh")
    Sleep(1000)
    If _HTML_Compare($oIE) Then
        MsgBox(0, '', 'The same content')
    Else
        Switch @error
            Case 0
                MsgBox(0, '', 'Content changed')
            Case 1
                MsgBox(0, '', 'No content')
        EndSwitch
    EndIf

WEnd

Func _HTML_Compare(ByRef $oIE)
    Local Static $aRegExp_Static[5] = ['', '', '', '', '']

    Local $html = _IEDocReadHTML($oIE) ; get the new page
    Local $aRegExp = StringRegExp($html, '(?is)td\h*class="align-c\h*(?:small|big)">([^<]+)', 3)
    If UBound($aRegExp) = 5 Then
        If _
                $aRegExp_Static[0] = $aRegExp[0] And _
                $aRegExp_Static[1] = $aRegExp[1] And _
                $aRegExp_Static[2] = $aRegExp[2] And _
                $aRegExp_Static[3] = $aRegExp[3] And _
                $aRegExp_Static[4] = $aRegExp[4] Then
            Return 1
        Else
            $aRegExp_Static[0] = $aRegExp[0]
            $aRegExp_Static[1] = $aRegExp[1]
            $aRegExp_Static[2] = $aRegExp[2]
            $aRegExp_Static[3] = $aRegExp[3]
            $aRegExp_Static[4] = $aRegExp[4]
            Return 0
        EndIf
    Else
        Return SetError(1, 0, 0)
    EndIf

EndFunc   ;==>_HTML_Compare

btw.

you are talking about

how can i compare 5 data from before and after

I now see that your RegExp is different - makes arrays with 2 elements, so my code is only a conceptual and need some work to do.
