Igor Barinov
Hello! I have an autoit script, let it be only one command: RegWrite("HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Test", "Test", "REG_SZ", "1") i pack it into executable and place in msi script. Then i start it by executinig .msi everything goes ok, but then i place it in active directory deployment -package executes and get installed , but packed script in it doesnt (i chek the registry). Do the Auto-It compiled script need to have an logged user to execute or something..?? Thank You!
GaryFrost
nope, I run autoit scripts all the time on machines that have no-one logged on as long as the script doesn't have to inter-act with and windows, i.e. install application that can't be done silent then the script if written correctly will wait till a user logs in and continues on. We do silent installs and registry updates regardless of user(s) logged on or not. Gary SciTE for AutoItDirections for Submitting Standard UDFs Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference. Igor Barinov
Well found why. Scripts didnt start then u put it in UI sequence in msi, just put it somewhere in exec sequence and everything works fine.
