Compare <href> before downloading

Hi,

I believe this one will be a little more tricky than my previous post :)

I'm trying to automate downloading a file's new version from the developer's website. It should compare hrefs so if the download link (assuming that the new file's name will contain the version number or will be renamed somewhat) is different than $sOldDownloadLink it should download the file, if not it shouldn't do anything. I've a feeling hrefs shouldn't reside within divs, but please let me know your thoughts on this.

Perhaps a little bit of research on the href attribute would be your best port of call. Are you sure the href attribute is primarily found in div elements? Doesn't sound right to me.
