ImageSearch and dllcall failure

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone

I am new to this forum, and kinda to autoit so bare with me. I am trying to develop a bot for an android game. I am using bluestacks as an emulator for android. I have to use the ImageSearch algorthim. Problem is it fails.

$result = DllCall("ImageSearchDLL.dll","str","ImageSearch","int",$x1,"int",$y1,"int",$right,"int",$bottom,"str",$findImage)

As you know dllcall should return an array if successful. the thing is, it returns 1 to indicate a failure in the dllcall. I have tried the x86 and x64 versions of this algorighm which you can find on forum. This is how I call _ImageSearchArea

_CaptureRegion()
_ImageSearchArea($gameImage,  0,0,0,500,500, $x, $y, 0)

 I have X64 op sys win 7. Also x64 autoit installed

The bluestacks window  resolution is 577 by 690

this is the ImageSearch I am using

<snip>

$gameImage , is an image I want to compare and I have prepared so no worries there.

TheShaps,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum.

Unfortunately you appear to have missed the Forum rules on your way in. Please read them now - particularly the bit about not discussing game automation - and then you will understand why you will get no help and this thread will now be locked.

See you back soon with a legitimate question I hope.
