mLipok
I have few questions.I apologize if my question are stupid . I'll ask them as a layman / novice in DllCall. Question 1:Is there a way to Catch up error invoked by DllCall in the same or similar way like in COM object , or only by checking @error ? $hDll = DllOpen("user32.dll") DllCall($hDll, "bool", "zzz") ; Then this (COM interface): $oShell = ObjCreate("Shell.Application") $oShell.zzz() Question 2:What are the differences in the use of some library (for example Debenu Quick PDF Library), available in both DLL and OCX versions? As you probably know the version of the OCX, I created the UDF, and here I wonder if it's worth, in the future in similar cases use the version of the DLL or OCX more?As you probably know I created the UDF for Debenu using ActiveX, and here I wonder if it's worth, in the future in similar cases use the version of the DLL or OCX ? Please share your experience.Best regards,mLipok Edited July 24, 2015 by mLipok topic title Signature beginning:* Please remember: "AutoIt"..... * Wondering who uses AutoIt and what it can be used for ? * Forum Rules ** ADO.au3 UDF * POP3.au3 UDF * XML.au3 UDF * IE on Windows 11 * How to ask ChatGPT for AutoIt Code * for other useful stuff click the following button: Spoiler Any of my own code posted anywhere on the forum is available for use by others without any restriction of any kind. Danyfirex
GetLastError for all that api that use setlasterror internally. (GetLastErrorMessage expands on [GetLastError]) some api says use GetLastError to get an exteded error infromation ( also you can handle the error just with the return Ret[0] (dllcall way).
