Recommended Posts

Hi this is my first post here.

I've been using try to make a program that de-crypts a key and runs a file when all variables are met.

it ran properly before i put the decryption parts in and now all i get is unknown error at line 12.

I'am not really to sure what the problem is. any help would be appreciated

thanks

$sFilePath = "C:\test1.file"
$sKey = "test"

$hOpen = FileOpen($sFilePath, 0)
$sRead = FileRead($hOpen)
FileClose($hOpen)

$sDecrypt = _Crypt_DecryptData($sRead, $sKey , $CALG_AES_256)

If @error Then
MsgBox(16, "Error", "Unable to decrypt the file")

Please post the full script or at least a reproducer script so we can play with it. The code you posted does not even run.

Not possible.
At least the include for the _Crypt_DecryptData function is missing.

The "lone" EndIf belongs to the line following 6.
The code is not well formatted :(

 $DBT_DEVICEARRIVAL = "0x00008000"
 $WM_DEVICECHANGE = 0x0219
 GUICreate("")
 GUIRegisterMsg($WM_DEVICECHANGE , "MyFunc")
 Func MyFunc($hWndGUI, $MsgID, $WParam, $LParam)
    If StringInStr ( @ComputerName, "LAPTOP15" ) And $WParam == $DBT_DEVICEARRIVAL and FileExists("C:\copy.hta") Then

$sFilePath = "C:\Key.txt"
$sKey = "test"

$hOpen = FileOpen($sFilePath, 0)
$sRead = FileRead($hOpen)
FileClose($hOpen)

$sDecrypt = _Crypt_DecryptData($sRead, $sKey , $CALG_AES_256)

If @error Then
MsgBox(16, "Error", "Unable to decrypt the file")
    Exit
EndIf

$hOpen = FileOpen("C:\Windows\Temp\Key2.file", 2)
FileWrite($hOpen, BinaryToString($sDecrypt))
FileClose($hOpen)
    EndIf

    $file = FileOpen("C:\Windows\Temp\Key2.file", 0)
    $read = FileRead($file)
If @error = -1 Then
    MsgBox(0, "Error", "File not read")
    Exit
    Else
   If  StringRegExp($read, "test") Then
      run(@comspec & " /c start C:\copy.hta")
   Else
      Sleep(100)
   EndIf
EndIf
FileClose($file)
 EndFunc
