EXCEL OBJGET & CREATE

im confused with my first line, its working but is this correct?

If Not ProcessExists("excel.exe") Then
    $oExcel = ObjCreate("Excel.Application")
EndIf
If ProcessExists("excel.exe") Then
    $oExcel = ObjGet("", "Excel.Application")
EndIf

can someone enlighten me... thanks in advance...

Why dont you use the Excel UDF? It does everything for you.

I use excel udf, but this one is new script, want to explore something new.  I saw this in helpfile and play with it..

If Not ProcessExists("excel.exe") Then
    $oExcel = ObjCreate("Excel.Application")
    $oExcel.Visible = 1
    $oExcel.WorkBooks.Add
EndIf
If ProcessExists("excel.exe") Then
    $oExcel = ObjGet("", "Excel.Application")
    $oExcel.WorkBooks.Add
EndIf

but im confused with this line, i dont know if this is the right way but its working,

I would reduce it to:

If ProcessExists("excel.exe") Then
    $oExcel = ObjGet("", "Excel.Application")
Else
    $oExcel = ObjCreate("Excel.Application")
EndIf

So you save the second ProcessExists. What is still missing is the error checking.
