ijourneaux
I am trying to intereact with the menu associated with a tray icon.I was able to left "click" on the tray icon using $hSysTray = ControlGetHandle('[Class:Shell_TrayWnd]', '', '[Class:ToolbarWindow32;Instance:1]') $sToolTip = "Citrix - Logged On" For $i = 1 To _GUICtrlToolbar_ButtonCount($hSystray) $sCurrent = _GUICtrlToolbar_GetButtonText($hSystray,$i) ConsoleWrite($i & ": " & $sCurrent & @CRLF) If $sCurrent = $sToolTip Then _GUICtrlToolbar_ClickButton($hSystray, $i, "left") ExitLoop EndIf NextThat brings up a menu with many items. Each item can have a sub menu and a sub sub menu.I can't use the Info Tool as the minute I touch the info tool, the menu disappears. How do you interact with the icon menu? BrewManNH
Unfreeze the Au3Info tool using the menu option or by pressing CTRL-ALT-F, then you can interact with the controls and the info tool will track your mouse. Just be aware, that a lot of tray icon menus don't show in the tool. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. ijourneaux
I will give that a shot tonight. Once the menu is selected, I wonder if I could send keystrokes to it to move the cursor up the menu to the choices I want to make,
