NetRanger
Hi! I'm trying to make autoinstall of OpenOffice, but when I run the script as file, it's launchs lot of OpenOffice install windows. But if I executing it from SciTE, then all is fine. OpenOffice install is for x32 system, but mine OS is x64. Does it's a reason for such behavior?OS: Windows 7 x64, 512Mb RAM (virtual machine)The script body:Run("Apache_OpenOffice_4.1.0_Win_x86_install_ru.exe")WinWaitActive("","")Send("{ENTER}")
Moderators Melba23 Posted July 30, 2015 Moderators Share Posted July 30, 2015 NetRanger,Welcome to the AutoIt forums. At a guess you have named the compiled executable as "Apache_OpenOffice_4.1.0_Win_x86_install_ru.exe", so that it keeps spawning itself - that is the usual reason you see multiple instances of the same process. Try renaming the script you compile and see if that solves the problem.M23 Any of my own code posted anywhere on the forum is available for use by others without any restriction of any kind Open spoiler to see my UDFs: Spoiler ArrayMultiColSort ---- Sort arrays on multiple columnsChooseFileFolder ---- Single and multiple selections from specified path treeview listingDate_Time_Convert -- Easily convert date/time formats, including the language usedExtMsgBox --------- A highly customisable replacement for MsgBoxGUIExtender -------- Extend and retract multiple sections within a GUIGUIFrame ---------- Subdivide GUIs into many adjustable framesGUIListViewEx ------- Insert, delete, move, drag, sort, edit and colour ListView itemsGUITreeViewEx ------ Check/clear parent and child checkboxes in a TreeViewMarquee ----------- Scrolling tickertape GUIsNoFocusLines ------- Remove the dotted focus lines from buttons, sliders, radios and checkboxesNotify ------------- Small notifications on the edge of the displayScrollbars ----------Automatically sized scrollbars with a single commandStringSize ---------- Automatically size controls to fit textToast -------------- Small GUIs which pop out of the notification area
NetRanger
I have figured out the reason of what causes such behavior - WinWaitActive("",""). I have changed that to WinWaitActive("Preparing to install OpenOffice 4.1.0","&Next") and it's done. I just thought, that's AutoIt don't understand russian language.
