Just curious as to what people have done when they have found a project they would like to contribute to, but the developer is no where to be seen? I have just found a project I would (have done in my own fork) like to update. The project is in JavaScript/jQuery and it works alight, but there are some basic 101 rules when it comes to manipulating the DOM e.g. caching jQuery selector objects. Anyhow, what have people done? It seems silly to just re-create a new project or does it?
