Autonogi
I am looking to get the script to do something along the lines of,Activate WindowPress button 1Click spot XPress button 1Click spot YPress button 1Click spot ZHold button 2Release Button 2repeat...The problem im having here is i dont know how to make the Script pop up a text box that would say something along the lines of"Be prepaired to click for position X""Press okay and then click where X should be"Then to have the position/window that is clicked to be recorded to be used as "spot x, y or z" based on the recoded location...Then reused in the script what i have thus far (knowing nothing about how to actually do this so i wont try and look stupid)WinActivate("Window")$Script=1While $Script=1 Send("1") Sleep(1500) ;shouldt something about grabbing the already grabbed location MouseClick("Left") Sleep(1500) Send("1") Sleep(1500) ;shouldt something about grabbing the already grabbed location MouseClick("Left") Sleep(1500) Send("1") Sleep(1500) ;shouldt something about grabbing the already grabbed location MouseClick("Left") Sleep(1500) Wend
Moderators Melba23 Posted August 11, 2015 Moderators Share Posted August 11, 2015 Autonogi,Welcome to the AutoIt forums.Trying locate and click specific screen locations is not a terribly reliable way of automating an application. If you can tell us which app you are using and exactly what you are trying to do we might be able to help develop something less dependent on window position and screen resolution.M23 Any of my own code posted anywhere on the forum is available for use by others without any restriction of any kind Open spoiler to see my UDFs: Spoiler ArrayMultiColSort ---- Sort arrays on multiple columnsChooseFileFolder ---- Single and multiple selections from specified path treeview listingDate_Time_Convert -- Easily convert date/time formats, including the language usedExtMsgBox --------- A highly customisable replacement for MsgBoxGUIExtender -------- Extend and retract multiple sections within a GUIGUIFrame ---------- Subdivide GUIs into many adjustable framesGUIListViewEx ------- Insert, delete, move, drag, sort, edit and colour ListView itemsGUITreeViewEx ------ Check/clear parent and child checkboxes in a TreeViewMarquee ----------- Scrolling tickertape GUIsNoFocusLines ------- Remove the dotted focus lines from buttons, sliders, radios and checkboxesNotify ------------- Small notifications on the edge of the displayScrollbars ----------Automatically sized scrollbars with a single commandStringSize ---------- Automatically size controls to fit textToast -------------- Small GUIs which pop out of the notification area
