noobieautolearn
noobieautolearn,ConsoleWrite?A better explanation might lead to a better answer.M23Sure say $var= "The meaning of life"I want the script to do the same thing as if I put in Send("The meaning of life") as it would then type each letter of the variable out instead of just being able to paste it.I am looking into Consolewright right now in the help file. kaisies
I'd venture he means if $var= "The meaning of life" then you execute somewhere where it sends each keystroke... sends t.. then h.. then e... so on etc, simulating the keystrokes. noobieautolearn
Ok I will try to clear this up.When you enter the code send("The answer to life") The auto it script will type out T then h then e then the space then an a etc. What I want to be able to do is copy text then make it a variable for example in this case lets say the variable is $var = "The answer to life".I know that I can paste the variable with clipput($var) then paste, however I want the code to type out the variable just like send("The answer to life") would type it out.
