_Filewritetoline is not working

Hello,

 

_Filewritetoline doesen't seem to work at all,

Not even the Example:

 

#include <File.au3>

; Example: Write to line 3 of c:\temp\test.txt REPLACING line 3
_FileWriteToLine(@scriptdir & "\test.txt", 3, "my replacement for line 3", True)
; Example: Write to line 3 of c:\temp\test.txt NOT REPLACING line 3
_FileWriteToLine(@scriptdir & "\test.txt", 3, "my insertion", False)

 

It doesen't create any file, if I create it myself, it neither writes to the file.

 

I'm using the latest autoit version 3.3.12.0

What is the fascination with this function all of a sudden?

What is the return value and @error of _FileWriteToLine?

I suspect 2, because the example in the current stable version is using a static filepath. Try the help file example and see for yourself.
