sehnstein
Hello !Today I wanted a script which can give me the I/O of the "system" process. Its PID is always 4 and when I play a game, this process write (but never read) on the disk.ProcessGetStats works for the I/O of the game but always set @error for the "system" process ... Why ?I tried with "4", "system", "system.exe" (with is not its real name) and always error ...Does anyone know how to do it ? I don't want to use WMI because I need all my memory for a dedicated server ...My little script : HotKeySet("q", "quitter") While(1) Local $StatsSystem = ProcessGetStats("system", 1) If Not @error Then ConsoleWrite($StatsSystem[3] & " " & $StatsSystem[4] & " " & $StatsSystem[5] & @CRLF) Else ConsoleWrite("Erreur" & @CRLF) EndIf Sleep(1000) WEnd Func quitter() Exit EndFuncThanks ! BrewManNH
The system process runs in Session 0, which is normally isolated from the normal user Session which would be session 1 or above. As a safety feature, session 0 processes can't be access from another session without bypassing this isolation protocol.I leave it to you to figure out how to do that, as it is a security breach in Windows because then you can cause all sorts of mayhem on a system. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
