How difficult is it to add other controls to AutoIT-gui, like updown and trackbar. Being an absolute neophyte in c++, I do not know the scope of doing this.

I am not sure to know what is updown does combo control do the job.

and Trackbar isn't it the progress control.

draw an example as I can see the difference.

Other controls you might consider adding:

- RichEdit textbox

- Menu bar

- Status bar

$DTS_TIMEFORMAT = 9

GuiCreate("test")

GUISetControl ( "date", "", 20, 20, 100, 20, $DTS_TIMEFORMAT)

GUIWaitClose ( )

The time box has little up and down arrows on its right hand side -

An updown control looks like this but it appplies to numeric data other then time. So it looks like an input box that you can adjust the values by clicking on the up and down arrows. (you can put the arrows on the left side or have them aligned horizontally by choosing various updown control styles)

I understand but I hope Larry,Valik and other have great idea to implement this updown.

I have none for the time being.

It's just a control type, JP. I can't remember what it's called off the top of my head, but I don't think there are any tricks to it. I've seen it in the GUI designer in Visual Studio, at any rate.
