old md5 file?

ive been wanting to add a cdkey like file to all of my programs i have been making recently.

 

once apon a time i wrote one were i used the MD5 file.  i cant get it to work now,  keeps telling me the md5 possible used before declaration.

how do i fix this?  i cant find anything about it

That mean that the variable is not declared. try to put it local/global respectively before using.

this is a ward function....

im using this md5 file and getting the error

its opening his md5 file then telling me the error.  it used to work for me with no issues then i updated windows and reinstalled autoit and my includes and i get this error. 

im learning that there is newer ways of doing this. the last time i used this method was 08. lol

is there better/easier ways to make a unique key file for every computer so the code cannot be shared?

looks like the "_Crypt_DeriveKey"  will do what i want,  not sure yet. ty for heads up guinness.

I didn't know it was ward's you were using. I was thinking more along the lines of _Crypt_HashData() and yeah I meant that function of trancexx's. There are plenty of challenges to overcome =)

ty for the help.

 

i realized that i was way tired when i started coding this morning.  totally forgot to change some of my variables using my old code.  i got it to work, no clue what md5 file im using. i know if i was to try to download and use the one i linked to it will keep giving that error

Isn't it the way. I find just closing SciTE and reopening again makes my code 1000x better! Weird =)
