#include <ButtonConstants.au3>
#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <StaticConstants.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>

FileInstall("F:\2.JPG", @TempDir & "\image.jpg", 1)
$Form1 = GUICreate("Form1", 285, 229, 192, 124)
$Pic1 = GUICtrlCreatePic(@TempDir & "\image.jpg", 0, 0, 284, 228)
$Checkbox1 = GUICtrlCreateCheckbox("Checkbox1", 48, 80, 97, 17)
GUICtrlSetBkColor(-1, 0xA6CAF0)
GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)

While 1
    $nMsg = GUIGetMsg()
    Switch $nMsg
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit

    EndSwitch
WEnd

When I mark checkbox, tick mark did not appear.

If a picture is set as a background picture the other controls will overlap, so it is important to disable the pic control: GUICtrlSetState(-1, $GUI_DISABLE).

From the help file.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

Did you read what I posted in #4? All you need to do is this.

$Pic1 = GUICtrlCreatePic(@TempDir & "\image.jpg", 0, 0, 388, 228)
GUICtrlSetState(-1, $GUI_DISABLE)

Then you didn't look, because what I posted in #4 came directly from the help file from the GUICtrlCreatePic function.
