javascript create a new file

Hello guys! I've got a little problem.I want to create a new file using javascript.But the code i've inserted does not work!Here's the code:

function o{
    var html = new ActiveXObject('Scripting.FileSystemObject');
    var s = html.CreateTextFile('c:\\test.txt',true);
    s.WriteLine('<html>');
    s.Close();
    
}

I need your help regarding this problem. Thanks in advance!

I guess you're using a browser and not Node.js. because browsers don't allow direct access to the user's file system for security reasons. Though in saying that, there is a File System API >> https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/File_System_API/Introduction that you can use. Or explain why you want (or think it can) JavaScript to write a file?

I work at a web registration page, and i need to know how does the script generates the user account with the information he inserted into the fields! If you can share me some of this knowledge i apreciate it!
